On that same note, if you know your group will be bringing a lot of items onto the party bus (say, ice chests for summer float trips), then you may want to choose a bus that has a little bit of extra room. If you rent a 20-person party bus for your group of 18, they may feel like sardines in a can if everyone brings a large personal item on board.

Prevent Things From Getting Awkward
If you're throwing a bachelor or bachelorette party, it's unlikely that everyone invited will know each other. It can be beneficial to allow a little extra space so people who don't know each other don't feel obligated to sit next to each other. Of course, if it's a pretty close-knit group, then this might not matter to you!

It is so important to choose the right bus so that you don't kill the vibe during the party. For example, if the groom-to-be loves karaoke, then find a bus that includes a karaoke system!

Other amenities to consider are stripper poles, wet bars, video game consoles, TVs and DVD players. Another big item that people tend to forget is a restroom. If you're going to be driving around town most of the night with limited stops, a restroom can be an invaluable amenity.

Lastly, it's always beneficial to think about safety, especially when alcohol is involved. Most party buses will have certain safety measures in place, so check and see what your party bus offers.
